Torbay and Torbay Heights
[edit]Kia ora Gadfium, yesterday I merged the articles for Torbay and Torbay Heights (as far as I could tell there seemed very little possibility of Torbay Heights expanding any further, and the area is almost always described as a subsection of Torbay). If you've got a spare moment, would you be able to merge the demographics sections? --Prosperosity (talk) 23:22, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Done. I wonder if Waiake should also be merged into Torbay. The 2023 SA3 area includes it as "Torbay-Waiake". I should have access to similar levels of detail from the 2023 Census in a week, per https://www.stats.govt.nz/2023-census/2023-census-release-schedule/, and it will take me about two years to update all NZ populated places.-Gadfium (talk) 23:54, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! I feel like Waiake should probably be merged as well - it doesn't really have much of a distinct identity separate from Torbay, but it is an officially Gazetted location, so this feels like something that needs more of an in-depth discussion. --Prosperosity (talk) 00:26, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
